Motherhood

 This painting was created for an entrance of a newly built house in Hokkaido, Japan.

My clients wanted to have a safe and welcoming place where their children grow up and come home to. Inspired by the beautiful forest and river in Nasu, I named this painting “motherhood” to evoke the warm gaze of a mother observing her children playing joyfully in nature.
